The House

​

The house has three bedrooms (one double and a twin upstairs) with a bathroom (shower over bath), and a twin room downstairs.

The pretty, open-plan, kitchen/dining room with modern appliances (electric fan oven, hob and extractor, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble drier, microwave.

There is a sunny lounge (with dual views to the mountains) with comfortable sofas, wood burning stove, TV with Freeview and DVD player and free WIFI.

There are programmable storage heaters in the downstairs rooms and hallway and the bedrooms have electric heaters.

Mar Cottage has a small summer house (to store golf clubs, etc) and there is a small BBQ for use in the large garden.

Dogs welcome.

Prices and Booking Conditions for 2024

 

  

January 1st to May 30th                           £600

 

May 31st to July 25th                                 £650

​

July 26th to September 12th                  £750

 

September 13th to December 31st       £650

  

 

Deposit – Half of the weekly rental payable at time of booking. 

​

Balance (including a £200 Good Housekeeping Deposit) payable 6 weeks before arrival.

 

The Good Housekeeping Deposit will be refunded (no later than 1 week after departure) providing no damage or additional cleaning costs need to be deducted.  We do ask that Tenants leave the Cottage as they find it. 

 

Meter Readings are taken upon entry and exit, and the cost of electricity used, will be taken from the Deposit.

 

The Wood Burning Stove burns seasoned wood only (instructions for use are in the cottage).

 

Cancellation – In the event of Cancellation, the deposit will not be returned unless the Cottage can be re-let for that period.

 

The rental changeover date is Saturday to Saturday.  The rental commences at 4pm on the first day and will end at 10am on the day of departure.

 

Linen is supplied (but towels are not provided as we find most people prefer to bring their own).

 

For pet owners, please ensure that the garden is kept clean, at all times, for the safety and enjoyment of present and future guests.
